Editorial Policy
Clear standards, dated claims, disclosed commerce.
We prefer a useful caveat over a confident but stale answer.
Research approach
We use public specifications, utility pages, state program pages, IRS guidance, DSIRE, manufacturer documentation, buyer questions, and quote-pattern analysis. When a claim depends on a program date, we say the date.
Corrections
Incentives and product specs change. If a factual issue is reported, we update the page instead of letting stale guidance linger.
Safety and tax limits
Electrical installation belongs with licensed professionals. Tax treatment belongs with qualified tax advisors. We help buyers ask better questions.
