About
An editorial home battery site, not a lead auction.
Home Battery Guide exists to help homeowners understand quotes before they spend five figures on storage.
What we publish
We cover installed costs, quote structure, battery brands, backup sizing, federal and state incentive claims, VPP programs, and state-specific buying pages for markets with real demand.
Why this site exists
The home battery market has a quote problem. The same hardware can be quoted thousands of dollars apart, and many pages online are lead funnels dressed up as reviews. We decompose the quote so buyers can ask better questions.
How we think
We care about installed cost, backup design, and long-term fit more than headline specs. On money pages we separate hardware from labor, design, and incentives. On incentive and tax-credit pages we default to caution and cite primary sources, because the wrong number in a quote is expensive when the credit does not apply.
What we are not
We are not your electrician, installer, utility, or tax advisor. We provide buyer due diligence, not DIY electrical instructions or individualized tax advice. Final purchase, installation, and tax decisions still belong with qualified professionals and the manufacturer documentation.
